Kieran does not like hoods, hats, anything on his head. Surprisingly, he tolerated the ghost hood quite well. The next day, after his bath, he ran all around the house with his towel on his head, being a ghost.

Kieran's Halloween

Kieran understands that this is scary and he goes around saying "Raaarr" and "Ooooo" to scare people. He was a bit too shy to do this while trick-or-treating, but he didn't hesitate to dig both hands into the candy bins... and keep going back for more... and more...













Kieran never had much candy before, but he was "lucky" enough to get sick the week before Halloween. We gave him pieces of cough drops and it didn't take him long to learn that little things in krinkly packages taste really good. So, as soon as he saw our bag of candy to hand out, he dug in and starting bringing candy to us to open for him.

The New Favorite

I realized today how important Maranda's new pet Cockatiel has become to her, when she insisted that Kieran wash his hands BEFORE touching the bird, not after!

Bits and Pieces

So as many people know, my sister and brother are in Bangladesh. We are planning to go visit them soon, perhaps early next year. Right now things are pretty turbulent due to some election protests, check out the story on BBC.
